External Roller Shades

Nysan external roller shades provide very good protection against thermal gain and glare, with performance superior to standard internal window coverings. A variety of operating mechanisms are available. Gravity drop roller shades resemble standard interior shades, but have specially engineered operating mechanisms and fabrics Markisolettes allow shades to extend away from a building in addition to raising and lowering. This protects against high sun angles and provide better vision outside the building. All Nysan systems offer: 

  • Full motorization and automation available for raising, lowering, and adjusting the shade, enabling an active shading solution for sun-facing elevations.
  • A wide variety of fabric colors, opennesses, and options to customize the aesthetics and performance of the shade. Durable fabrics - including PVC-free GreenScreen® Tek-Screen fabric - resist damage from sun, water, rot, and heat.
  • Heavy-duty brackets, bottom rail, and side guides engineered to withstand adverse environmental conditions.

Markisolette

Applications:






Our markisolette systems feature a hardware system that allows shades to extend away from a building in addition to raising and lowering. This provides additional protection against high sun angles as well as better vision outside the building. Nysan’s high-performance exterior fabrics – including PVC-free GreenScreen® Tek-Screen fabrics – remain colorfast, resist damage from water and heat, remain dimensionally stable, and are resistant to rot.
