New product: Aerowing

In our continuous effort to optimize components and systems of our Sun Control range, we created a new fin type: the Aerowing.  This new product offers a combination daylight and shading control into the building envelope.

The optimal Sun Control Systems

The Aerowing offers the optimal fin shaped Sun Control System with an elegant and futuristic appearance. This aluminium profile combines an optimum in span width and weight. The range includes 200, 300 and 400 mm wide fins fitted in a support structure with the choice of fixed or adjustable fins. The wide choice in colours, anodised and powder coated gives a unique appearance to the project.

 

All Aerofin systems - Aerofoils, Aerowings and Aeroscreen - are optimized using identical installation components and support systems. This makes life easy; once you’ve worked with one of our systems, they are all easy to understand. Based on the project specifications, it is simple to find the Aerofin that suits and performs best.

 

In order to design the optimal Sun Control System for buildings Hunter Douglas has developed a Solar Protection Tool. This tool takes into consideration the location of the building and the orientation of the façade. Based on the requirements this tools gives you the possibility to optimise any Hunter Douglas Sun Control System.
